Forum: feature_films Subject: MOVIE OF THE WEEK 05/14/04 IS...

After an amazing first week, we're back again to choose the next movie, this time chosen from the Feature Film collection.. The gods at random.org have spoken, and they have chosen #71. So, if we go into feature films by date added and scroll down to #76 (at Midnight 05/14/04 the number no doubt will change corresponding to the movie..)

ANYWAYS.. Let me check what it is (really, I am checking it now..)

It IS.....

LIGHTING CARSON RIDES AGAIN!! A western! here's the link to it:

http://www.archive.org/movies/details-db.php?collection=feature_films&collectionid=lightning_canson_rides_again

Here's the link to the IMDB page about it..

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0030366/

If you can believe it, the director directed 266 movies in his lifetime. Oops, I'm getting ahead of myself... :)

I think this will be a great conversation, about Westerns, forgotten movie stars etc. So once again, conversation about this film starts on SUNDAY!

Oh, and feel free to keep talking about RFD Greenwich Village..

splendid choice. McCoy together with Autrey, W.Boyd and Roy Rogers were role models for many young Americans (and worldwide) in the 1930,s and 40,s. It will be interesting to see how they measure up with forum members
